Trempolino supports the protagonists and agents of current musics (rock, chanson, hip hop, electronic music, traditional and world music) in the region of Pays de la Loire with a combination of services and systems that meet these musical practices.
The Trempolino association, as a partner of public policy since 1990, attempts to develop collaboration procedures that involve the public and private sector on a local, regional, national and international scale. Trempolino’s project is run by an association and a professional team, who gather skills and experiences into group projects, which are open to people who want to put a lot of themselves into it and with a constant concern for transparency and public debate.

Our activities :
 Resources : Concert schedule, specialised magazine readings in our office, musical bookshop, press kit on the bands, demonstration library for current musics, press book, consultation, network and regional magazine (Tohu Bohu) coordination...
 Regional Resource and Information Centre : Forum information, debates, conferences...
 Continuing professional education in : Voice, computer music, world music, sound, lighting, teacher training, professional integration...
 Support of musical practice : Provision of rehearsal space, support of bands, record production support, warranty fund...
 Support and development of artistic activities : Artistic administration offices, international artist-in-residence...

La Fabrique, a place offering a variety of disciplines, whose aim is to support artistic initiative in the field of current musics in multimedia, dance, experimental activities… is under way. Several associations have helped the project : Mire, Apo 33, Microfaune, L’Olympic/Songo and Trempolino. La Fabrique is to be an area for production and open to associative agents and project owners. Eventually, La Fabrique will include a nursery, a small room dedicated to emerging activities and creation, and residence areas (for dance, theatre…) spaced across 3 buildings.
The project is one of the major elements in the development of l’Île de Nantes project (Island of Nantes). It fits in with the creation of Campus Culture, which will house the Atelier des Machines, the School of Architecture and the future Art School.
Work to start : Beginning in 2009 / Delivery during 2011.
