Trempolino assists and supports artists, musicians, organizers, record labels and managers in implementing their project. Trempolino supports the protagonists and agents of current musics (rock, chanson, hip hop, electronic music, traditional and world music) in the region of Pays de la Loire with a combination of services and systems that meet these musical practices.
The Trempolino association, as a partner of public policy since 1990, attempts to develop collaboration procedures that involve the public and private sector on a local, regional, national and international scale. Trempolino’s project is run by an association and a professional team, who gather skills and experiences into group projects, which are open to people who want to put a lot of themselves into it and with a constant concern for transparency and public debate.

La Fabrique is a venue where local, national and international artists, production teams and support and promotion agencies can pool the creative tools and backing that artistic projects need to come alive. This trans-disciplinary forum is open to any and every audience, and home to any and every emerging art form. Nantes City Council built La Fabrique as part of its ongoing drive to bring culture and art closer to the people by blending art into the cityscape and by networking cultural circles. New Fabriques, like the Fabrique des Dervallières, will be opening around the city. Nantes-based artists helped to design La Fabrique in order to accommodate their production- and creation-related requirements. Five Nantes-based associations – L’Olympic, Trempolino, Mire, APO33 and Microfaune – worked on this project with Nantes City Council.

La Fabrique is structuring artistic creation and promotion in the Quartier de la création, a home to schools and universities, artists, cultural institutions and business firms pooling and sharing talent and expertise on the western tip of the island. The Quartier de la création springs from Nantes’ longstanding drive to blaze new trails and promote cultural experiments. It is a new development opportunity for Nantes Saint-Nazaire, and an opportunity to intertwine culture, technologies and business. It is here to create new options for action, and to unleash fresh momentum by enabling exchanges between artists, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and other key players. The creative and cultural industries here span a number of realms :
 artistic : visual arts, heritage, performing arts
 cultural : publishing, video cinema, interactive recreational software, etc.
 creative : design, architecture, advertising, fashion and all their satellites. 6 million people work in these industries across Europe. They generate roughly 700 bn per annum and that figure is growing over 10% every year. The Pays de la Loire’s 3,800 businesses working in this industry employ 3,200 people. More than 50 creative-industry businesses, the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture and the University stand right by La Fabrique. The École des Beaux-arts (school of fine arts), the École de Design and Pôle des Arts Graphiques will join them soon.

La Fabrique is in essence a lab. It is a bold showcases for art in today’s light. Here, experiments are one of the keys to artistic creation, and to building and boosting projects. La Fabrique’s local dimension underpins its dedication to this area’s creative and associative drive. It is here to pool art forms, production methods, initiatives, experiences and backgrounds. But it is first and foremost a network of stakeholders. Its innovative agenda and exposure will help it to play an active role building artistic cooperation at European and even possible international level. La Fabrique is committed to protecting and promoting cultural-expression diversity in the spirit of UNESCO and Agenda 21 for Culture declarations.
